Donating to the Great Eastern Trail
So you’re as excited about the prospect of planning and packing and hiking for days on endless miles of trail as we are! Here are some ways you can help our cause.
Spread the word:
Tell friends & family about this visionary new trail & help educate others about the value and importance of hiking trails for our generation to the next. It is an exciting new development for hiking communities all over the nation, and we want everyone to know about it!
Join us on the trail!
We would love to see friends, family, & fellow hikers who love adventure and the outdoors out on the AT! Check our website to see where we are on the trail and send us an e-mail at getathike@gmail.com when we get close to your area and we can meet up. We’d love to hear from you!
Donate:
Support the volunteers that are building the trail both for us to enjoy, and to help protect the land from development. 100% of money donated goes to the creation of the Great Eastern Trail. We deeply appreciate any help that you can give.
The Great Eastern Trail has applied for its non-profit status and hopefully will have its status by late 2008. Currently, donations are tax-deductible through the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club.

Susan, once again you are on the adventure trail for yet another good cause. Tell me what I can do for YOU along the trail so that I can get a part of this wonderful time in your life. Please post your mail-dropoff dates a bit further in advance so I can also send mail to you from Thailand! I need advance worning to do that (3 weeks notice!)
